MEET OUR COACHES
Dedicated professionals committed to your growth and success in the sport of boxing.
Noelle Shangraw
Meet Head Coach & Owner, Noelle Shangraw.
Noelle began boxing in 2015 at Motor City Boxing Club in Oshawa and, within her first year of competition, earned two Ontario Championships at the Bronze Gloves and Golden Gloves Provincial tournaments.
In 2016, she began coaching at Motor City Boxing, training under highly experienced coaches across both the amateur and professional levels of the sport. During this time, she worked alongside Provincial Champions, National Champions, Professional Boxers and a respected high-performance coaching team. This experience shaped the foundation of her coaching, giving her a strong understanding of high-level athlete development and the standards required to succeed in the sport.
Over the past decade, Noelle has continued to build on that foundation, becoming a Level 2 Boxing Coach and earning a Fitness & Health Promotion Diploma from Algonquin College in Ottawa. Through her work as a Fitness and Sports Instructor with PSP Petawawa and at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre as a Certified Personal Trainer, she has developed a strong understanding of physical exercise, conditioning, performance training, and athlete development—an approach that plays a key role in how she structures and delivers her boxing programs.
Noelle’s coaching is rooted in technical precision, discipline, and a commitment to developing athletes effectively—from building strong foundations to preparing athletes for competition. Noelle is dedicated to building a structured boxing program in the Ottawa Valley, with a strong emphasis on proper technique, disciplined training, and developing skilled athletes at all levels, while contributing to the continued growth of the sport within the community.
